Anneliese McCarthy is a Queens based independent singer and songwriter. Somewhere in between Courtney Barnett and Joni Mitchell, Anneliese has always had a knack for writing songs that are as equally melancholy as they are charming.
Anneliese released her first EP “Daydream” in 2016 while attending art school, and soon after befriended her guitarist and collaborator Henry Ellison (Hank Painter). They have played together in every borough at least once. Some past venues include Mercury Lounge, The Silent Barn, Pete’s Candy Store and several locations with Sofar Sounds.
In 2019, Anneliese will release her second EP “Party Girl” which will feature a full band. She is excited to work her first music video in the late summer.
."Her delicate indie folk style is highlighted by brilliant story telling and her dainty vocal stance" (Custom Made Music).
